Neural Intervention Center
The Neural Intervention Center was established in 2003, which is an important part of the department of minimally invasive neurosurgery. Through long-term clinical practice, introduction of international advanced technology, tempering with implementation of more than one thousand cases of neural intervention surgery, and reasonable configuration of software and hardware as well as medical staff, the center keeps ahead in the area where it locates in respect of diagnosis and treatment level.
Once learning from Professors Lin Feng and Huang Shengping, well-known experts in neural intervention, the leaders of the center have a solid theoretical basis, rich clinical experience and skillful operative techniques through long-term clinical practice and study. Adhering to the philosophy of “All services are provided for patients, all are beneficial for patients”, the latest scientific research achievements and curative methods are used to serve patients.
At present, the center has been involved in the neural intervention work with the annual operations more than 400 cases in number, and achieved significant effect in embolization treatment of hemorrhagic cerebrovascular diseases (such as aneurysm, arteriovenous malformation, arteriovenous fistula, spinal arteriovenous malformation, etc.), and stent implantation and thrombolytic therapy for ischemic cerebrovascular diseases (such as intracranial artery stenosis, acute infarction in intracranial artery, venous sinus thrombosis and occlusion). Meanwhile, the center has established a green channel for acute stroke treatment, so that timely and accurate diagnosis can be made for patients at any time, and the patients can receive the most formal, most timely and best treatment within an effective time window.
