The department has a complete set of advanced neuroelectrophysiological examination equipment, including the first dedicated high-end neurological examination equipment worth RMB 25 million in China - MEG device (produced by the U.S. 4D Corporation), 21 video EEG workstations of ultra-large arrays, intraoperative electrocorticogram monitor, digital EEG instrument, multi-functional intraoperative neuromuscular function monitor, etc. The department can carry out examination items related to neurology, such as MEG epileptic focus, central somatosensory cortex, central location of auditory cortex, 18 sphenoid electrode EEG, intraoperative epilepsy electrocorticogram, intraoperative monitoring of neuromuscular function, electromyography, auditory brainstem response, visual evoked potentials, somatosensory evoked potentials, electroretinogram, event-related potentials, blink reflex, respiratory sleep monitoring, etc. It carries out intracranial buried electrode monitoring project in collaboration with the department of neurosurgery, and keeps pace with the advanced level in the industry.
