Department of Clinical Laboratory
The clinical laboratory, as an important medical department, is responsible for providing objective experimental data for the diagnosis, curative effect observation and disease prevention of clinical diseases. Adhering to service philosophy of “Patient-centered, quality-oriented, dedicated to clinical services”, the department is committed to providing satisfactory services for each patient and clinical department.
The department staff is highly qualified and experienced with associate’s degree, bachler’s degree or above. The department consists of 6 major specialized divisions, that is, biochemistry, clinical examination, immunology (including CL), microbiology, blood bank and cerebrospinal fluid cytology. It carries out more than 100 test items, and provides strong laboratorial support for the clinical work.
The department has more than 20 sets of advanced equipment, which provide a strong guarantee for high-quality clinical services. The equipment includes the Japanese Olympus AU640 full-automatic biochemical analyzer, the Italian BT2000 full-automatic biochemical analyzer, blood gas analyzer, the U.S. IMMULITE1000 full-automatic chemiluminescent immunoassay analyzer, Abbott Axsym Plus immunoassay analyzer, the Japanese SYSMEX KX-21 automated blood cell counter, the German Julia-II urine analyzer, full-automatic and semi-automatic coagulometer, the U.S. MEDICA electrolyte analyzer, the Japanese Olympus microscope, Olympus BX-41 microscope camera system, cell slide centrifuge, blood flow change analyzer, automatic electrophoresis apparatus, microplate reader, plate washer, biological safety cabinets, superclean benches, bacterial incubators, etc.
In addition to the routine test items (such as routine blood, urine, and stool tests, liver function, kidney function, heart function, blood glucose, electrolytes, hepatitis B hepatitis B two fifty-fifty, hepatitis C, HIV, syphilis), the department also carries out the specialized test items, such as brain parasite antibody test, virus antibody test, routine cerebrospinal fluid test and cytology test, pituitary function test, tumor and endocrine test, antiepileptic drug concentration test, addictive toxicant test, hemorheology test, CSF protein electrophoresis, etc.
